Technology is improving dentistry by leaps and bounds. New ways are being developed to make your visits faster, easier, more comfortable, and better for the world around us. The latest advances mean earlier, less-invasive treatment, which produces faster healing times and greater precision for dental procedures. You'll love the results!
Dr. Ha believes in a team approach to dental care. One of the ways he
accomplishes this is through the use of a high-tech intra-oral camera. This
remarkable technology is a miniature video camera that presents a close-up
picture of the inside of your mouth. Now you can see what work needs to be
done and which teeth are doing fine, making you an active participant in
each dental decision. You'll love how this works!
3-D cone beam CT digital imaging technology is one of the latest advances
in dentistry. We are excited to soon be one of the first practices in our
area to provide this service. Think of this as a three-dimensional X-ray
that is FAR more accurate than traditional X-ray equipment, taking much less
time and doing it with far less radiation exposure. Ultra cone beam images
present an outstanding advantage when diagnosing patients and evaluating
treatment options. Dr. Ha's ability to clearly see a patient's anatomy in
3-D, as opposed to flat, two-dimensional images, will lead to much greater
accuracy for all dental treatment but especially implant placement and any
oral surgeries.
Digital X-rays use 75% less radiation than conventional X-rays. Using a digital sensor, an image is taken of your mouth and downloaded into our computer, where it is instantly available. No more waiting for images to develop and no more chemical waste to pollute the environment.
Isolite is a "brilliant" new technology that makes your dental care much
more agreeable. A combination light and suction device, Isolite illuminates
the oral cavity, eliminating shadows while also removing excess moisture and
debris. What does this mean for you?
Modern dentistry requires a dry "field" for best results. The Isolite keeps your teeth and gums dry and often removes the need for a bulky rubber dam during procedures.
Nothing beats an easier, more comfortable dental visit. If you have questions about the latest dental technology, give us a call today at (808) 941-2088.
