I had an excellent experience with my dental implant! Dr. Ha is an outstanding doctor—very knowledgeable, gentle, and made the entire process completely painless. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I want to give a special shout-out to Yodin for the excellent service and care. Great bedside manner, top-notch service, and the office uses modern, up-to-date technology. Plus, free parking and a very convenient location. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. John HA for couple years now, and undergoing dental treatment in the pass has always been a unpleasant experience for me. This is mainly because I have often found myself on the receiving end of doctors’ conversations, where they would inform me that I need surgery to fix my teeth, but in a way that made me feel belittled and ashamed. However, after finally deciding to get dental implants, I chose to go with Dr. HA after reading positive reviews. I approached this decision with the mindset that if I felt judged or criticized about the condition of my teeth, I would seek treatment elsewhere. From my very first consultation to the permanent implantation of my implants, Dr. HA and his staff have truly made this surgery the best decision of my life. For nearly two years, I have been traveling from the Big Island to Oahu to receive my treatments. I understood that if I wanted to regain a sense of normalcy, and be able to eat and smile confidently, I had to trust that the staff would make the right decisions and guide me in the correct direction, as I had no knowledge of the process. The front office staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always being flexible with scheduling and accommodating my family when necessary. The dental assistants made me feel like a friend rather than just a customer, and Dr. HA himself took the time to explain the entire operation process from start to finish. He also discussed additional measures to ensure that I felt confident in achieving the results I desired. I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. HA and his staff for their invaluable assistance throughout my procedures. Best dental establishment hands down!!.

Dr John Ha and his team were amazing. I’m from California and had a dental emergency in Waikiki. I contacted his office and they made time to see me. I only spent an hour and a half there and they did amazing. Allowed me to continue with my vacation with some peace of mind. Thank you so much.

From stepping into the office, it and the staff were very welcoming. Had an 11am appointment and there was no waiting. At 11, they were calling me in. Karen was very nice and professional taking pictures. During the exam, I suddenly felt very “out of sorts” and had to leave to get some air. Shawn came out to make sure I was OK and was very caring and we appreciated her kindness and understanding. Mahalo HSD!

There is no better dentist. I have never been to this location, but saw him at a previous practice. Dr. Ha is the perfect dentist. I had severe dental anxiety which caused me to neglect my teeth health, needed a root canal. He made me stop hating the dentist. He is caring, funny, has amazing banter and is just genuinely an awesome dude. Since he moved practices I’ve had no one that can possibly compare to him. Do yourself a favor and choose him for your dental care. I wish I still could.

I had a wonderful experience at Honolulu Smile Design! Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr. John Ha has a very proactive approach to dentistry. He took the time to answer all my question and he was able to explain it in a relatable way which made it easier to understand. I had a smile on my face from the time I got in till the time I left, I’m guessing that was all by design.

Honolulu Smile extends the absolute best “customer service” you’ll ever experience at a dental office, or anywhere, for that matter. I dare say it rivals “customer service” at 5-star Hotels. The difference is this, hotel workers are in the hospitality business and are constantly trained to ensure they perform accordingly. At Honolulu Smile, everyone beginning with the ladies at the front desk, dental assistants and Doctor John Ha, their service is “Genuine.” It comes from their heart, it’s real, they truly care for people. Hard to find words to express my appreciation for their sincerity and “genuine customer service.”
